Jesus Over Everything: Culture
Overview
Culture shapes how we think, act, and view the world. It often influences our values, beliefs, and behaviors in ways we don’t even realize. As followers of Jesus, we are called to live differently—to live in a way that reflects Christ, even when it goes against the norms of society. Romans 12:2 challenges us not to conform to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by renewing our minds. Jesus calls us to a counter-cultural lifestyle, where His truth and love guide our decisions. In a world where cultural pressures can distract us from God's truth, we need to prioritize Jesus above all else. This discussion will explore the impact of culture on our faith and provide practical steps to keep Jesus at the center of our lives.
